Miami
Florida Theater- if you are visiting Miami
and want a night out including a trip to the theatre,
you’ve come to the right city. Miami has a load
of theatres and there is a wide range of types and
performances to choose from. The planned $244m Performing
Arts Center is testament to the growing importance
of theater and the performing arts in Miami
(it is expected that this will now open in 2006 and
when opened will provide a magnificent venue for theatre
and other arts as well as being a stunning architectural
building). At present there is a wide number of theaters
to choose from and the range of types of plays and
entertainment is extensive.
Make sure you get a schedule of performance for
the time of your stay in Miami and include a night
out at the Theater in your itinerary.
The best plan is to get this before you set out on
your trip because you can then select your show, put
aside a night that suits and book your tickets in
advance. If not, talk to your hotel reception and
they will provide you with listings for your stay
and advise you on purchasing tickets.
